Jobs For November

Thanks to Steve for getting my Rotavator back and sounding sweet as a nut! It will get some use this week!
Some customers are asking me what needs doing in the garden at the moment! November can still be very busy for me before the gardens shut down due to ice and snow! I'm pruning roses, tidying shrubs and climbers, lifting and dividing herbaceous perrennials, re-positioing them if needed. Mulching flowerbeds and of course, leaf raking and storing to be turned into leaf mulch. You should avoid leaving the leaves lying around on lawns as this is bad for the grass and a waste of a resource.

Waiting for my Rotovator to come back from Steve the repair man. I will be using this on some veg plots this week. Rotavating is the best way to get air into the soil, improve soil structure and also introduce fertility in the form of well rotted muck. It would be a back-breaking job to do this with a spade!

Ok, finally decided to start this "blogging malarky"!
The main purpose of this is to draw people's attention to my gardening business, but I also want to broaden the scope to include gardening news, hints and tips and also a general log of my activity including the guitar playing and the various bands I play in.
